AMENDMENTS, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. All amendments to a travel plan and itinerary are subject to our Cancellation policy
2. Refunds will not be made for any missed services in respect of the trip.
3. Bookings that are being made more than 14 clear days prior to the travel date can be confirmed by paying a booking amount of 30% of the rental charge. This booking amount is non-refundable and shall not fall under any of the below mentioned cancellation rules.
   • The balance 70% needs to be paid by or before 14 clear days prior to the travel date.
   • Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the trip and releasing of the dates

 

In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of a booking, BOONDOCKERS shall be entitled to retain such portion of the booking as prescribed below

Up to 14 clear days or more prior to travel date –

• Cancellations – Full refund (Excluding the booking amount, IF applicable). Security deposit (IF paid) shall be completely refunded).
• Rescheduling – No change fees. New travel dates must be within 30 days of original travel date. New dates subject to availability and fare difference if applicable will need to be paid. However, if the new rental is lesser, no refunds shall be given of the balance amount.

 

Up to 13 to 8 clear days prior to travel date –

• Cancellations – 50% rental will be retained by us (Excluding the non refundable booking amount, IF applicable). Security deposit (IF paid) shall be completely refunded.
• Rescheduling – No change fees. New travel dates must be within 30 days of original travel date. New dates subject to availability and fare difference if applicable will need to be paid.
• However, if the new rental is lesser, no refunds shall be given of the balance amount.

 

Up to 7 clear days or less from travel date –

• Cancellations – 100% of the rental paid will be retained by us. Security deposit (IF paid) shall be completely refunded.
• Rescheduling – Only 50% of rental paid can be used towards new travel dates. New travel dates must be within 30 days of original travel date. New dates subject to availability and fare difference if applicable will need to be paid.
• However, if the new rental is lesser, no refunds shall be given of the balance amount.

 

After commencement & during travel –

• Cancellations – 100% of total Trip price will be retained by us. Security deposit shall be refunded after making deductions IF applicable.
• Rescheduling – No rescheduling allowed.
• Extensions – Subject to availability.
• For extended dates regular tariff will be applicable.

 

Refundable Security deposit must be paid by or before 24 hours prior to the start time of the trip.

In case the trip needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to a travel ban imposed by the government which affects your travel dates (not the destination)

• However, if the new rental is lesser, no refunds shall be given of the balance amount.

After commencement & during travel –

• Cancellations – 100% of total Trip price will be retained by us. Security deposit shall be refunded after making deductions IF applicable.
• Rescheduling –
  • Client can choose a different destination if possible. In case of travel to a different state Boondockers shall put in every effort to procure a fresh special permit for the new state if possible.
  • Change of dates – No change fees. 100% of rental paid plus booking amount (if applicable) can be used towards new travel dates. New travel dates must be within 30 days from the date when travel restrictions are lifted. New dates subject to availability and fare difference if applicable will need to be paid.
  • However, if the new rental is lesser, no refunds shall be given of the balance amount.
  • Any costs incurred in this scenario (including but not limited to – fuel, special permit, taxes etc.) shall be adjusted towards the refundable deposit.

 

Refundable Security deposit must be paid by or before 24 hours prior to the start time of the trip.

For travel up to 2 days(48 hours) – Refundable deposit will be one day’s rental.

For travel which is 3 days or more – Refundable deposit will be 50% of the total rental amount.

Exclusions

• Fuel – We give you a full tank and the camper van needs to be returned with a full tank
• Any tolls etc.
• Any State entry tax
• Any parking fee.
• Meals.

Short trip – 2 days(48 hours) – Confirmed booking at least 4 days in advance.

Mid range trip – 3 days to 4 days(72 to 96 hours) – Confirmed booking at least 1 week (7 days) in advance.

Long trip – 5 days(120 hours) – Confirmed booking at least 10 days in advance.

Yes, we have provided you with a 2 burner cook top with 5 litre LPG cylinder

• Basic kitchen spices (6 to 7 ) including salt, pepper, red chilli powder etc.
• Sugar, Tea powder & coffee sachets.
• Cooking utensils (Pots, pans, cooker)
• Cutlery & Crockery (cooking/serving spoons, tea-spoons, table spoons, 4 dinner plates, 4 quarter plates, 2 serving bowls, 4 bowls, 6 cups, 6 glasses).
• Welcome kit with a few packaged snacks & mints/chocolates.
• One 5-litre mineral water bottle.

Yes we provide the below mentioned items in Linen

• Full size pillows – 4 nos.
• Pillow cases – 4 nos.
• Single bedsheets – 2 nos.
• Double bedsheets – 1 nos.
• Thin/camping blankets – 4 nos. (Single size)
• Hand towels – 2 nos.
• Quick dry bathing towels – 4 nos.
• Kitchen towels – 2 nos.

Yes we provide the below mentioned items in toiletries

• Shampoo sachets – 4 nos.
• Small bathing soap – 1 nos.
• Travel size toothpaste – 1 nos.
• Toilet paper – 2 (one installed one in stock)
• Hand wash – In the dispenser.

Yes, however the geyser (instant water heater) can be operated only in situations where you get a direct power supply.

We have a 150 liters freshwater tank and a 150 liters waste water tank, both are fitted with water level sensors. The driver will inform you when the wastewater tank needs to be emptied and when the freshwater tank needs to be filled.

No, currently the camper van is not pet-friendly.

No, smoking inside the camper van is strictly prohibited. In case of any incident a fine of ₹10,000 will be levied on the traveller for each instance.

No, as per govt regulations, the camper van can be driven by the allotted driver only.

Our driver is equipped with all the necessary information and he will take care of the same.

For your safety we have fitted a 360 degree rooftop camera on the vehicle. We urge you to take care of your personal belongings as any theft or burglary that happens in spite of all these security measures will be beyond our purview.

Yes all our drivers go through a thorough background check as well as a health check.

We do not provide any travel insurance, however you are free to have one for yourself.

If there are some regular medications that you take then we urge you to carry them. We have placed a first-aid kit in the vehicle for nicks and scrapes. For any immediate medical attention the driver will drive you to the nearest hospital/clinic

In order to keep the spirit of adventure alive we do not offer any curated trips / fixed routes. You are free to take the camper van anywhere you wish, well almost anywhere. For further assistance you may contact us for suggestions and tips.

You can park the camper van at almost any beautiful location provided it is not a NO PARKING zone and is safe for yourselves and the camper van. In our experience a kind word with the locals goes a long way in helping you find a safe spot to camp/park overnight. The possibilities are endless, you may also identify hotels, resorts, airbnb’s or a farm etc. along your route to park overnight. Some locations may charge you a nominal parking fee while others might offer parking for free.. Go and Explore !
